Hotel is in a good location and rooms are both large and well maintained. Breakfast had a good variety for an economy hotel, though I found the quality of the hot food to be a bit disappointing. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and will most likely return.

My Business partner and I had a wedding close by and decided to drive down the night before. There were no hotels close by and we were desperate for something closer. We are Gypsy Hair Guru, a traveling hair and makeup team that specializes in weddings. Urstad accomadated our late arrival and our early departure. I told them not to worry about breakfast because we were leaving at 6:30am and they still brewed fresh coffee and put out a delicious blueberry muffin bread that was amazing. Thank you for saving the day.

Overall, our stay was good and I'd stay here again if I needed a place in the Clear Lake area.

I booked on Expedia 11 months in advance and requested a joining rooms with the other room I booked. Called the property at the time also and then called the property a week in advance confirming. One room was booked with a joining rooms capabilities but the other on a different floor. They were able to move us to the same floor but still not the same. Clearly with a little planning we could have been accommodated since the people on the other side of the a joining room didn’t request it.
